Patrick Dean "Pat" Poiter

    Patrick Dean “Pat” Poiter, age 67 of Carbondale, formerly of Alto Pass, passed away Friday, March 6, 2026 in Carbondale. He was born on September 21, 1958 in Granite City, the son of Richard and Margaret (Simons) Poiter.

    Pat is survived by his daughter, Heather (Floyd) Oliphant; grandchildren, Mason, Bekah and Samuel Oliphant; brother, Bobby Poiter; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Peggy Dooley.

    Pat was a very outgoing and social person. He loved the outdoors and had been a member of the cub scouts. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.

    No services are scheduled at this time. Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna is in charge of arrangements.
