Patricia Lou (Shelton) Chandler

Patricia Lou Chandler, age 89 of Kenton, TN passed away Friday, July 5, 2024 in Dyer, TN. She was born October 6, 1934 in Jonesboro, IL, to the late Lloyd W. and Verla R. (Russell) Shelton. She married Jerry "Jack" C. Chandler on August 2, 1975 in Jasper, Indiana. He preceded her in death on March 12, 2002.

She is survived by her stepchildren, Teresa (Larry) Butts, Jerry (Karen)Chandler, Renea (Mike) Rosson, and Michelle (Derek) Comperry; eight grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; several wonderful, loving cousins, and special friends, Brandi (John) Dodd and their daughter, Sydney Inman and Lisa (Brian) Coleman and their children, Lauren, Daniel, Luke, and Adelynn Coleman. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jerry C. Chandler; stepson, Ricky Chandler; stepdaughter, Kathy (Mark) Whitt; and brother, Wesley W. Shelton, who was killed in action in Vietnam on October 18, 1971.

Pat was a member of the Laneview Baptist Church in Kenton, TN. She spent her working life as the proud business owner of Kenton House Restaurant. She will be dearly missed.

Funeral services for Pat Chandler will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna, Illinois. Interment will follow in the Anna Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Laneview Baptist Church of Kenton, TN. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
