Patricia Ann Groves

Mrs. Patricia Ann Groves, age 79 of Anna, died at 11:31 a.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2014 in the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She was born December 3, 1934 in Anna, the daughter of Earnest and Easter Dillow Thorne. She married Paul Edward Groves on February 7, 1952 in Anna. Patricia is survived by her loving husband, Paul Groves of Anna; two sons, Michael Paul Groves of Minooka, IL, Patrick Jay Groves of Tennessee; one daughter, Paula Marie Jones of Anna; seven grandchildren, Christopher Groves, Katie Groves, Kristie Jones, Alicia Groves, Peter Groves, Sara Groves, David Groves; two great grandchildren, Trinity Beckman and Patricia Williams; one brother, Gerald Thorne of Anna other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Roberta McMahan and one grandson, Steven Groves. According to her wishes, Mrs. Patricia Ann Groves will be cremated. Private family services will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to the Illinois Veteran's Home in Anna. Envelopes will be available at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
