Pamela Rae (Dudek) Hudson

Pamela Rae Hudson, age 67 of Anna, died Saturday, October 1, 2022 at her home. She was born August 13, 1955 in Gary, IN, the daughter of Edward Francis and Adeline Frances (Korczyk) Dudek. Pamela Dudek married Richard Hudson on May 14, 1976.

Pam is survived by her loving husband, Richard Hudson of Anna; siblings, Cynthia Dudek (Neth Hass) of Anna, Michael (Julie) Dudek of Anna, Susan Dudek (Ike Mezo) of Waukegan; many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Pam worked as a licensed clinical laboratory technician for many years. She and Richard lived in Indiana, Florida and North Carolina before retiring to Southern Illinois in 2018 to be closer to family. Pam will be missed by Sammie, her beloved Golden Doodle and her cats, Maddison and Annabelle.

Pam was authentically and wholeheartedly there for all those in her life. She loved cooking for her family, especially her award-winning brownies. She also enjoyed many forms of arts and crafts and decorating for the holidays.
