Mrs. Opal L. Treece, age 95 of Breese, formerly of Anna, died Saturday, November 18, 2017 at her home. She was born October 24, 1922 in Dongola, the daughter of Elbert Henry and Iva Eve (Ury) Dillow. She married Martin Leon Treece on May 7, 1942, they shared sixty-seven years together. He preceded her in death on May 31, 2009. Opal is survived by her loving daughters, Carol Lavon Otrich and Devra Lane Treece, both of Breese; three grandchildren, Christine Noel (Ronald) Gramann, Zachary Michael Treece and Jackson Thomas Treece; one great-grandchild, Spencer John Gramann; other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Martin Leon Treece; son, Dr. Michael Leon Treece; four sisters, Blanche Allen, Ruth Angel, Hazel Davis and Jean Crocker; and one brother, Walter Dean Dillow. Opal was a member of the Anna First Baptist Church for over fifty-five years. She was a devoted Christian and over the years she has read her bible in entirety more than thirty times. She was a life-time member of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary, joining in 1984. Opal was a skilled seamstress and enjoyed needlepoint and crocheting in her spare time. She was a dedicated mother to her children and made raising them her life's work. Funeral services for Mrs. Opal L. Treece will be at 12:00 noon on Friday, November 24, 2017 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Rev. Les Sinks officiating. Interment will be in the Casper Cemetery in Anna. Friends may call after 10:00 a.m. and until the service hour at 12:00 noon on Friday, November 24, 2017 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Memorial contributions may be made to Casper Cemetery or the Anna First Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home.
