Onida Davis

Onida Davis, age 87 of Anna, died Thursday, July 2, 2020 in the Integrity Healthcare in Anna. She was born May 19, 1933 in Anna, the daughter of James Monroe and Maggie Mae (Phillips) Landis. She married Lawrence Davis Jr. on November 19, 1950 in Millcreek. He preceded her in death on January 31, 2007. Onida is survived by her children, Roger Davis of Pomona, Stanley Davis of Anna, Mike (Betty) Davis of Anna, Connie Lingle of Anna, and Patricia (Tim) Trovillion of Golconda; seven grandchildren, Rachel (Chad) Stewart, Carl "Butch" (Pam) Earnhart, Aubry Page, Chad Lingle, Gabe (Edna) Morris, Jake Morris, Mason (Aja) Morris; nine great-grandchildren, Malik Groh, Rebecca Stewart, Dakota & Aspen Earnhart, Jayden & Shaylee Moore, Austin Lingle, Michela Morris, Ashley Saenz, ; two brothers, Floyd (Ann) Landis and Leonard (Doris) Landis all of Anna; a host of other family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lawrence Davis Jr.; grandchildren, Jeremy and Tina Earnhart; siblings, Ann Strickland, Carl and Jack Landis, Edna Vines, Judy Yancey, Jeri Manus. Onida loved farming, raising cattle and cooking. She dearly loved spending time with her family and will be deeply missed by everyone. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 6, 2020 in the Ebenezer Hall Cemetery. Interment will immediately follow. Everyone attending is requested to wear face covering and observe social distancing guidelines. Memorial contributions are preferred. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the cemetery and the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home.
