Nelson R. Brimm

Mr. Nelson R. Brimm, age 80 of Jonesboro, died at 3:26 p.m. Sunday, October 22, 2017 in the Marion V.A. Medical Center. He was born August 13, 1937 in Anna, the son of Pete and Marjorie (Ray) Brimm. Nelson is survived by his two sisters, Terri (Bob) Dover of Anna, and Patricia (Ron) Dwight of Peoria, AZ; three nieces and nephew, April (Jonathan) Teske, Wade (Idegail) Dover, Cheri (Jeff) Kaltenback, and Jenifer (Mike) Nicoloff; twelve great nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Homer Eddleman and one nephew, Bobby Dwight. Nelson proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He worked at Trojan Powder in Wolf Lake until it closed and later worked at A-J One Stop in Anna for several years until retiring. Nelson was a lifelong member of the Carroll P. Foster Post #3455 VFW in Anna. Funeral services for Nelson R. Brimm will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 25, 2017 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home of Anna with Bob Dover officiating. Interment will be in the Anna Cemetery. Graveside military rites will be conducted by the Carroll P. Foster Post #3455 of the VFW in Anna and the Scott Air Force Base Honor Guard. Friends may call after 11:00 am and until the service hour at 1:00 pm. Wednesday, October 25, 2017 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home of Anna.
