Nathan Alexander "Alex" Honey, age 16, died Sunday, October 22, 2017. He was born February 18, 2001 in Carbondale, the son of Bradford Shane Honey and Angela Deloris Hunter. Alex is survived by his parents, Brad Honey and Angela Hunter of Anna; maternal grandmother, Deloris Hunter of Makanda; paternal grandparents, Jim and Wanda Honey of Anna; uncle, Steven (Amy) Hunter of Makanda, three aunts, Christina Hunter of Vienna, Dawn (Brian) Kelley of Texas, and Kim Honey of Jonesboro; other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John Hunter. Funeral services for Nathan Alexander "Alex" Honey will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 26, 2017 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Rev. Ken Wilson officiating.
