Nancy Rogers

Mrs. Nancy Rogers, age 76 of Jonesboro, died at 9:00 a.m. Thursday, July 23, 2015 at her home. She was born August 25, 1938 in Union County, the daughter of Lawrence H. and Vina M. White Ramsey. She married Burnie Rogers on April 12, 1974 in the Kornthal Church in Jonesboro. Nancy is survived by her loving husband, Burnie Rogers of Jonesboro; daughter, Vanessa (Tracy) Wilson of Mulkeytown; two grandchildren, Kaleb (Brandy) Wilson and Tyler Wilson; one great-grandchild, Tristan Wilson; two brothers, Clay Ramsey of Herrin and Jerry Ramsey of Thebes; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, William Lawrence Knight; and two brothers, Junior and Eugene Ramsey. Nancy was retired from Union County Abstract where she worked for twenty-seven years as an abstractor. Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Rogers will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 26, 2015 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Friends may call after 12:00 noon and until the service hour at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 26, 2015 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
