Nancy Jane Norris

Nancy Jane Norris, age 73 of Dongola, died Monday, May 11, 2020 at her home.She was born on March 11, 1947 in Aurora, Illinois to George and Pauline (Kerns) Baldridge. She married Marvin Ray Ervin on October 10, 1981. He preceded her in death on April 30, 2009. She married Donnie Norris on December 23, 2018.Nancy is survived by her husband Donnie of Dongola; 2 daughters, Carissa Norris of Metropolis and Taunya (David) Medley of Dongola; 1 son, Troy Norris on Buncombe, IL; 1 brother, Jim Hart; 1 sister, Susan Fridkin; her nieces and nephews, Pattysue, Jackilynn, Tommie, David and Jimmie Martin, other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Ervin, her parents, and her siblings, Paul Baldridge, Pat O'Malley, and Patty Martin.Nancy was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Cypress. She had worked as an underwriter for a life insurance company. She enjoyed spending time with her family, making crafts, fishing, working in her yard and being outdoors.Private graveside services for Nancy Jane Norris will be held at Liberty Cemetery in Pulaski with Rev. Jay Franklin officiating.Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro is in charge of arrangements.
