Monte L. Bridges

Monte L. Bridges, aged 65 of Cobden, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2023 at his home. He was born December 25, 1957 in Murphysboro, Illinois, the son of Monte Lee and Linda (Aldridge) Bridges.

He spent his working life as a self-employed carpenter and welder. He also served in the United States Army.

Monte is survived by a brother, Michael Bridges of Cobden; sisters, Jacquie Wray of Mechanicsville, Virginia and Allison Beach of Rock Port, Texas; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Dwayne Bridges. He will be dearly missed.
