Mildred Wright

Mrs. Mildred Wright, age 97 of Jonesboro, died at 1:55 p.m. Friday, January 13, 2017 with her granddaughter by her side. She was born April 22, 1919 in Jonesboro, the daughter of William and Bertha (Hinkle) Mayberry. She married William Leslie Wright on February 11, 1936 in Jonesboro. He preceded her in death on November 24, 1979. Mildred is survived by her granddaughters, Beverly Lynn Ferry, Marla (Kevin) Fuller; grandson, Ed (Cheryl) Woods; great-granddaughters, Charlotte Marie (Ken) Shealy, Charlotte Fuller, Haley Fuller (Don Eddleman); great-grandsons, Chris (Kacie) Fuller, Jeffrey Alan Ferry Jr., Jack Robert Ferry, Eddie (Danea) Woods, Chris (Micki) Woods, Tim (Jenna) Woods; eight great-great grandchildren; sisters, Geraldine McLane, Helen Keesee; brothers, Floyd (Vickie) Mayberry and Richard (Jean) Mayberry; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Leslie Wright; daughters, Dora Alberta Giovannetti, Margaret Mayberry, and Charlotte Woods; grandson in law, Jeffrey Alan Ferry Sr.; brothers, Robert Mayberry, A.P. Mayberry, Raymond Mayberry, William Mayberry, and Sherman Mayberry; brothers in law, Raymond McLane and Harold Keesee. Mildred was an active member of the Valley Mission Pentecostal Church for most of her life. She loved the Lord and her family. The family would like to express our thanks for the wonderful help and care given by Celtic Hospice. Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Wright will be at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, January 15, 2017 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Rev. Paul Mayberry officiating. Interment will be in the Anna City Cemetery. Friends may call after 12:00 noon and until the service hour at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, January 15, 2017 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
