Mildred L. Pearce

Mrs. Mildred L. Pearce, age 97 of Anna, died at 5:45 a.m. Thursday, September 28, 2017 in the Union County Hospital in Anna. She was born February 10, 1920 in Wolf Lake, the daughter of Fred and Allie Tucker. Mildred is survived by her loving son, Kevin Pearce of Anna; brother, Bill (Mary) Tucker of Wolf Lake; other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Juanita Jones; and one brother, Melvin Tucker. Mildred was a homemaker, and dearly loved spending time with her son. During WWII she worked at the Wolf Lake Powder Plant as a bomb maker. According to her wishes no services will be held.
