Mildred H Mcraven

Mrs. Mildred H. McRaven, age 91 of Anna, died at 5:35 pm, Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at the Union County Hospital in Anna. She was born on November 17, 1921 in McClure, the daughter of Jess and Lula Rhymer. Mildred was united in marriage to Mac McRaven on July 27, 1941 in Jackson, Missouri. They were happily married for over fifty-five years. Mac preceded her in death on September 17, 1996. Mildred was a member of the Gospel Kingdom Church in Anna. Mildred is survived by two sons, Doyle McRaven and Glen McRaven both of Jonesboro; five grandchildren, Bob Meirindorf, Joey (Martha) McRaven, Sherri (Russell) Hileman, Cindy Cain and Peter McRaven; six great-grandchildren, Josh Hileman, Amy Glasco, Ashley Taylor, Alex McRaven, Brach Benefield and Brett Benefield; eight great-great-grandchildren, Brad, Eli, Emma, Jayden, Caroline, Drake, Leigha and Isaac, other relatives and many friends. Mildred was preceded in death by one son, Wayne McRaven; five brothers and three sisters. Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred H. McRaven will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with the Rev. Bon Reynolds officiating. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Friends may call from 1:00 pm until the funeral hour at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gospel Kingdom Church. Memorial envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
