Mildred Goins, age 80 of Anna, died at 5:45 pm, Friday, March 16, 2012 at her home. She was born on January 14, 1932 in East Chicago, Indiana, the daughter of Joseph and Barbara (Sector) Chuck. Mildred married Robert Goins on December 3, 1949 in Mound City. Mildred shared 62 years of marriage with Robert while being a pastor's wife for 46 years. After her husband retired from being a pastor, she started attending the Apostolic Faith Tabernacle in Jonesboro. Throughout her life with Robert she loved her church life and family, working crosswords, garage sales and loved drives in the country but her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her life. Mildred is survived by her husband, Robert Goins; two daughters, Debbie (Wesley) Sadler and Rebecca (Mike) Gibson both of Anna; three sons, Tony (Teresa) Goins of Anna, Mark (Denise) Goins of Anna and Tom (Sheila) Goins of Denham Springs, LA; thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Goldie Petraitis of Anna; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; three infants, Victoria, Sandra and Robert Louis and one brother, Joseph Chuck. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 pm, Monday, March 19, 2012 at the Dongola Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Brad Nave officiating. Friends may call at the Dongola Pentecostal Church on Sunday, March 18, 2012 from 4 until 8:00 pm and also on Monday at the church from 10:00 am until the funeral hour at 12:00 pm. Interment will be in the Cypress Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Apostolic Faith Tabernacle Church in Jonesboro. Envelopes will be available at the church and at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna and Jonesboro.
