Mike Pind

Mr. Mike Pind, age 66, of Jonesboro, died at 8:25 p.m. Tuesday, November 15, 2016 in the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was born October 13, 1950 in Anna, the son of James Calvin and Helen Lucille (Rhodes) Pind. He married Pam Barker in December of 1973 in Anna. Mike is survived by his loving wife, Pam Pind of Jonesboro; one son, Michael (Judy) Pind of Wolf Lake; four grandchildren, Brittany Pind and fiancé, Coleton Patterson, Gary Pind, Brandon Pind (Cara Farris) and Chelsie Pind; one great-grandchild, Macy Patterson; brothers and sisters, Mildred Fox of Jonesboro, Barbara Barlow of Anna, Paul (Marilyn) Pender of Cobden, Fred (Maxine) Pender of Jonesboro, Jim Pind of Jonesboro, Clarence (Becky) Pind of Anna, and Don (Sarah) Pind of Wolf Lake; sister in law, Louella Pender of Anna; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, John and Gilbert Pender. Mike was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church. He worked many years as a machine operator for Holcomb Welding. Mike enjoyed singing karaoke and loved Johnny Cash music. Funeral services for Mike Pind will be at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, November 20, 2016 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Greg Etherton officiating. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, November 19, 2016 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
