Mike Dean

Mr. Mike Dean, 52, of Cobden, died at 5:12 p.m., Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale. He was born February 10, 1960 in Anna. He married Julie A. Baldwin on July 13, 1983. He is survived by his wife, Julie Dean of Cobden; his mother, Barbara Morrison of Anna; one daughter, Kristal Ann Dean (Michael Pearl) of Anna; one son, Khyle Adam Dean (Jessica Harvell) of Jonesboro; 1 sister, Charlotte (Danny) Hartline of Cobden; 1 brother, Glenn Allan (Jennifer) Morrison of Cannonsburg, PA; 1 grandchild, Logan Pearl; a niece, a nephew, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Morrison. Mike was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cobden. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and was employed by the United States Postal Service as a maintenance service engineer. Funeral services for Mr. Mike Dean will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden with Rev. Ed Falgout officiating. Interment will be in the Alto Pass Cemetery with military honors at the graveside by the Carroll P. Foster Post #3455 of the VFW in Anna and the Military Funeral Honors Team of Marion. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m., Monday evening at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden. Memorials may be made to the education fund for his grandchildren. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
