Michael Gene Swink

Michael Gene Swink, age 64 of Dongola, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at his home surrounded by family. He was born January 6, 1961 in Anna, the son of Don Charles and Betty Janice (Sims) Swink.

Michael is survived by his children, Janice and husband Michael Wisley of Atwood, TN, Dustian Marsh of Arizona, Don Swink and partner Jessica Casper of Woodridge, Michael Swink of Brownstown; five grandchildren, Mellony Robertson, Kearston Wisley and partner, Eli Vestal, Tobin Wisley, Cameron Swink, and Blake Swink; two sisters, Donna and husband Billy Williams of Anna and Debbie Holcomb of Dongola; nieces and nephews, other extended family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Donnie Ray Swink and Tommy Swink; grandson, Michael Thomas Wisley; and great-grandson, Luka Dean Vestal.

Michael spent his working career on the farm. He was an avid outdoorsman; he enjoyed hunting and fishing and just being outside. He loved animals and winning a game of pool against his sister. Michael was a kind and loving father, brother and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
