Michael Wayne Morgan

Michael Wayne Morgan, age 74 of Jonesboro, passed away Saturday, April 5, 2025, at his home. He was born on February 16, 1951, in Anna, the son of William Paul and Luella Marie (Kelley) Morgan. He married Karen Cantrell on March 22, 2003.

Mike is survived by his wife, Karen Morgan; step-daughter, Tonya (Chris) Kendall; grandchildren, Caleb and Ethan Kendall; siblings, Randy (Mary) Morgan, Paula Morgan and Van (Beth) Morgan; nieces and nephews, Danielle (Brandon) Smithey, Andrew (Jordan) Parr, Shelley Morgan, Jenifer (Jamie) Eddleman, Miranda (Brett) Wright and Katy (Garret) Williams and "The Boys", his great-nephews, Reed, Clay and Axton. Mike was also loved and will be missed by cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Duane Morgan.

Mike was a faithful member of the Refuge Worship Center. His relationship with God and his church were most important to him. He grew up farming with his family and continued to do so, helping Brandon on the farm. He was a truck driver and member of the Teamsters Union for over 20 years. After retirement, he enjoyed time spent outdoors, especially watching birds and working in his shop. Mike was a soft-spoken, kind and gentle man that enjoyed helping and giving to others.

Funeral services for Mike Morgan will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Rev. Danny Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 10:00 am until the service time at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Refuge Worship Center. Envelopes are available at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home.
