Michael Anthony Guerra

Michael Anthony Guerra, age 60 of Dongola, died Monday, January 17, 2022 at his home. He was born August 18, 1961 in Chicago, the son of Pasquale and Cindy Guerra. He married Lou Ann Damon on June 14, 1996 in Bridgeport. Michael is survived by his mother, Cindy Guerra of Arizona; loving wife Lou Ann Guerra of Dongola; children, Michael Teske of Oak Forrest, Susan (Brad) Caldana of California, Maxwell (Brianna) Guerra of Pennsylvania, George (Kathy) Sievers of Oak Lawn, Kelly (Donny) Jett of Chicago, Timothy (Maria) Sievers of Oak Lawn; sixteen grandchildren and one on the way; siblings, Deneice (Anthony) of Glendale, Arizona, Jacqueline (Kai) Guerra of Chicago, Andrea (Vee) Luz of San Diego, California, Marcus Guerra of Chicago; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father. Michael worked many years as a carpenter, was a member of the Carpenter Local 270 in Springfield. He was a loving father and grandfather and loved his 5 fur babies. In his free time he enjoyed riding motorcycles. He will be dearly missed by everyone. There will be no services at this time.
