Michael Tod Davis

    Michael Tod Davis, age 70 of Anna, passed away Wednesday, August 26,2026. He was born on August 30, 1955 in Anna, the son of Lawrence Davis, Jr. and Onida (Landis) Davis. He married Elizabeth “Betty” Buck on January 13, 1983. She survives.

    Michael is survived by his wife, Betty Davis; son, Butch (Sonja) Earnhart; grandchildren, Christian Dakota Earnhart and Aspen Brooke (Donald) Craig; great-grandchildren, Emily, Eli, Everly, Emery, Saylor and Colter; siblings, Roger and Stanley Davis, Connie Lingle and Trish Trovillion; nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and his dog, Yadi. He was preceded in death by his parents, stepson, Jeremy Earnhart and step-daughter, Tina Earnhart.

    Michael was a talented musician, performing in several local bands. He loved the Beatles. He worked many years as a landscaper before beginning his career with Southern Illinois Healthcare, where he continued landscaping and performing outdoor maintenance.

    Michael’s family and friends will be gathering at his sister Connie’s home on Lick Creek Road, east of Anna at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 26, 2026 to spend time together and celebrate his life. Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna is in charge of arrangements.
