Michael Joe Cunningham

Mr. Michael Joe Cunningham, age 57 of Jonesboro, died at 6:00 a.m. Sunday, September 9, 2012 at his home in Jonesboro. Michael was born May 25, 1955 in Pierre, South Dakota, the son of Delbert and Ruth Kurtsinger Cunningham. Michael is survived by his son, Michael (Amanda) Cunningham of Murphysboro; two daughters, Gylian (Terry) Moore of Alto Pass, Raechal (Bryon) Turner of Jonesboro; four grandchildren, Kohen, Jan, Bryce, RaeAnne, Keylee; one grandson on the way, Wilson; wife, Carroll Ledbetter; nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Michael was lovingly known as "Pappy" to his grandchildren. He was a member of the Illinois Painters Local #32 and the Missouri Painters Local #199. Michael proudly served his country in the United States Army.Memorial services for Mr. Michael Joe Cunningham will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 15, 2012 at the State Forest in Jonesboro.
