Mary E. (Wright) Yeckley

Our sweet mother, Mary Elizabeth Yeckley, passed away at her home on Saturday, February 17, 2024, after a long, full life. She was the kindest soul to everyone she met. Loved by all, her family was her greatest joy. She was well known in the community for her forty-year career in banking. She will be missed by everyone who's life she touched. She is now in her forever home in heaven.

Mary was born on June 3, 1941 in Anna, the daughter of Winstead and Blanche (Duskey) Wright. In 1960, she married Clarence Bradford Yeckley. He preceded her in death on November 23, 2013.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Tina (Chris) Whiteside and Gina (Tim) Greenwood; grandchildren, Rachel (Michael) Harvel, Ashley (Adam) Taylor, Alex McRaven, Braydon Greenwood and Maryn Greenwood; great-grandchildren, Blake Pena, Dylan Harvel, Caroline, Shepard, Silas and Collins Taylor; a niece, Cecilia Wright-Santos; daughter-in-law, Karen Robinson; sister-in-law, Shirley Corzine; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents; two sons Terry Lee and Gary Wayne Yeckley; grandson, Brendan Avery Greenwood; sister, Bonnie Evelyn Wright; brother, William Robert Wright and two nephews, William Robbie Wright and Winstead Ronnie Wright.

Funeral services for Mary E. Yeckley will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Interment will follow at Campground Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. until the service hour at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to Campground Cemetery. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
