Mary Strunk

Mary Strunk, age 57 of Anna, died Monday, April 15, 2019 at her home. She was born March 27, 1962 in Carbondale, the daughter of Thomas Wayne and Carolyn (Williams) Strunk. She is survived by her mother, Carolyn O'Brien of Anna; biological father, Thomas Wayne Strunk of Cobden; children, Beth (Eddie) Richardson of Pittsburg and Buck Wayne Towle Jr. of Nashville; seven grandchildren; six brothers and sisters, Margaret Jarvis of Anna, Terry Strunk of Anna, William O'Brien of Coello, Sharon (Rick) Keebler of Bush, Clint Strunk of Phoenix, Arizona, and Roger O'Brien of West Frankfort; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by step-father, William Virgil O'Brien Jr.Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2019 in the Blairsville Cemetery in Blairsville. Interment will immediately follow. Everyone is asked to go directly to the cemetery.
