Mary D. Rector

Mrs. Mary D. Rector, age 77 of Anna, died at 7:15 P.M. Sunday September 19, 2010 at the Anna Rehab & Nursing Center in Anna. She was born May 26, 1933 in Alto Pass, the daughter of Asa O. and Christy E. Russell Linton. She married Arnold M. Rector of July 16, 1949 in Jonesboro. He preceded her in death on February 25, 2006. Mary is survived by four daughters, Sue Simmons of Dongola, Linda (Phillip) Brown of Dongola, Brenda (Jerry) Swisher of Marion, and Barbara (Tim) Muhlbaier of Lake Station, IN.; one sister, Evelyn Nance of Anna; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arnold; one son, Ronald Rector; one son in law, Donald T. Simmons Sr.; three great-grandchildren; and seven brothers. Mary was a loving wife and mom and will be dearly missed. Graveside funeral Services for Mrs. Mary D. Rector will be at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday September 22, 2010 at the Anna Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Richardson officiating. Interment will be in the Anna Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until 12:45 P.M. Wednesday September 22, 2010 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
