Mary Ruth Morgan

Mary Ruth Morgan, age 93 of Jonesboro, died Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at the Jonesboro Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. She was born April 2, 1927 in Anna, the daughter of Glee and Ollie Ann (Girtman) Lewis. She married Freddie Walker on October 9, 1944 in Anna and he preceded her in death on July31, 1994. She later married Hubert Morgan. Mary is survived by her children, Peggy Dunn of Ware and Tammy (Rod) Sadler of Kirksville, MO; grandchildren, Ron Fox, Donnie (Paula) Dunn, and Rodney II (Kelly) Sadler; great-grandchildren, Jessica Fox, Matthew Fox, Tyler Fox, Rachel Fox, Anna & Alice Sadler; sisters, Hazel Jefferson of Talulah and Peggy Sinclair of Petersburg; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; 1 brother; 6 sisters; granddaughter, Rhonda Lambert. Graveside services will be held privately for the family at the Jonesboro Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Refuge Worship Center in Jonesboro. Envelopes will be available at the Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
