Mary Lou Tucker

Mrs. Mary Lou Tucker, age 75 of Anna, died at 11:45 p.m. Thursday, October 10, 2013 in the Anna Rehab and Nursing Care Center. She was born November 29, 1937 in Cobden, the daughter of Andrew Jackson Brasel and Chloe Agnes Sharp. She married George Ray Tucker Jr on January 27, 1977 in Anna. He preceded her in death on April 3, 2002. Mary Lou is survived by her children, William Joseph Fox of Anna, Robert Wayne (Jeannette) Fox of Dongola, Patricia Ann Pearl of Anna, Linda Lou (Bill) Conner of Anna; step-children, Pamela (Tony) Newman of Buncombe, and Janice Cook; eight grandchildren, Crystal Dawn Davidson, Christina Fay Haynes, Nathaniel David Fox, Thomas Roy Conner, Allison Danielle Conner, Robert Lloyd Fox, Gerald Eugene Fox, Danny Joe Fox; three step-grandchildren, Tony Joe Newman, Rebecca Dawn Cunningham, Ashley Nicole Cook; four great grandchildren, Kaleb Bryan Meier, Angel Marie Star-Fox, Gabriel Aden Haynes, Makenzie Ray Haynes; three step great-grandchildren, Sydni Elise Haynes, Braxton Kameron Ray Knupp, and Jacklynn Mae Grace Kennedy; one brother, Ray Brasel of Anna; other relatives and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and three brothers, Donald Sharp, Lloyd and Melvin Brasel. Mary Lou was a member of the First Baptist Church in Anna. She was retired from NBTY after working twenty five years as a bottler. Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Lou Tucker will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 13, 2013 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Rev. Terry Kern officiating. Interment will be in the Kelley Cemetery in Cobden. Friends may call from 5 to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, October 12, 2013 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
