Mary Elizabeth Landreth Winn

Mary Elizabeth Landreth Winn, age 95 of Cobden, died Tuesday, March 12, 2019 in the Union County Hospital in Anna. She was born May 30, 1923 in Cobden, the daughter of Floyd F. Sr. and Esther (Aldridge) Landreth. She married the love of her life Carl Lee Winn on June 4, 1949 in Jonesboro. He preceded her in death on March 9, 2009. Mary is survived by sister-in-law, Deloris Landreth of Jonesboro; nieces Carolyn (George) Sauer, Marcia (Bob) Moore, Pam (Rick) Castrey, Linda (Jay) Pickett, Charlotte (Doug) Clover, Karen (Steve) Shakiba, and Shirley Major; nephew, Steve (Patty) Landreth; several great and great-great nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl Lee Winn; three brothers, Stanley, Dorris, and Floyd Landreth Jr. Mary worked thirty five years for the Florshiem Shoe Factory until her retirement in 1980. Mary was a lifetime member of the Walnut Grove United Methodist Church. Mary loved to garden, go fishing, and spend time with her family and church family and will be dearly missed by everyone. Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2019 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden with Pastor Bobbie Shultz officiating. Interment will be in the Anna Cemetery. Friends may call after 10:00 am until the service hour at 12:00 on Saturday, March 16, 2019 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden. Memorial contributions may be made to the Walnut Grove United Methodist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
