Mary Lou Frick

Mrs. Mary Lou Frick, age 82 of Jonesboro, died at 10:15 a.m. Saturday, February 20, 2016 in the Anna Rehab and Nursing Center. She was born August 26, 1933 in Union County, the daughter of Harry P. and Mary Bell (Smith) Knupp. She married Earl N. Frick on March 27, 1954 in Anna. He preceded her in death on October 30, 2014. Together they shared 60 years of marriage. Mary Lou is survived by her son, Clifford D. Frick of Jonesboro; daughter, Rita E. Kelley of St. Louis, MO; three grandchildren, Amanda (David) Hannan of Metropolis, Dr. Michael (Bridget) Boyd of West Mont, and Carrie (Chris) Harrell of Chesapeake, VA; six great-grandchildren, Katelyn, Allison and Kyle Hannan, Miles and Amos Boyd and Avenlee Harrell; one sister, Ada Kimmel of MI; one brother in law, Roy W. Frick of Anna; one niece, Lisa Jo (Scott) Lemon of Midlothian, TX; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Earl N. Frick. Mary Lou was a member of the Jonesboro First Baptist Church for many years. She was a 1953 graduate of Shawnee High School. She started working for The International Shoe Factory in Anna, which later became the Florsheim Shoe Factory in the early 1960's. She stayed with the factory until their close in 1993. Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Lou Frick will be at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Pastor Michael Turner officiating. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. and until the service hour at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
