Mary J Crowell

Mary J. Crowell, age 80 of Anna, died Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at Integrity Healthcare of Anna. She was born on July 14, 1943 in Union County, the daughter of Thomas William and Florence Jeanette (Obermiller) Crowell.

Mary is survived by her sisters, Martha Rhodes and Mildred Duty; nephews, Gary Rhodes, Larry (Becky) Quertermous and Michael Quertermous; numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Thomas William Crowell, Jr. and a nephew, Tommy Quertermous.

Those that knew and visited Mary always found her with a book in her hand. She absolutely loved to read. Earlier in life, she enjoyed crocheting and making crafts with her mother.

Graveside funeral services for Mary Crowell will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 27, 2023 at the Cobden Cemetery with Bill Littrell officiating. Those attending are asked to gather at the cemetery from 12:30 p.m. until the service time at 1:00 p.m. Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden is in charge of arrangements.
