Mary Evalane (Berry) Wright

Mrs. Mary Evalane (Berry) Wright of Santa Ana, California died on June 25, 2014 in Fullerton, California, at age 81. She was born on June 10, 1933 to Iva Elizabeth (Davis) Berry and James Harvard Berry. Mary married Jewel Lonnie Wright on April 12, 1952 in Elco. Jewel and Mary grew up in the Anna-Jonesboro area and moved away in 1960. Mary was survived by her loving husband Jewel of 62 years of marriage; brother Vernon Berry and his wife Barbara of Elgin, Illinois; sister Vi Berry of Las Vegas, Nevada; son Cary Wright and his wife Karin of Houston, Texas; daughter Diana Wright Guerin of Fullerton, California; son Michael Wright and his wife Lori Barker of Aliso Viejo, California; grandchildren Miranda, Jonathan, Duncan, Alexandra, and Noland; and great-grandson Kilian. Other important people in Mary's life are her brother-in-law Louie Wright and his wife Patricia, and brother-in-law Ray Brimm. Mary was preceded by her parents. As a young woman Mary enjoyed camping and fishing. As she grew older Mary enjoyed RV'ing, movies, games, and reading. Mary was a loving and devoted wife, a caring mother, and a nurturing grandmother. Loved by all, Mary will be greatly missed and remembered with joy and affection. A celebration of life will be held for Mrs. Mary Evalane Wright and her husband, Jewel Lonnie Wright, (who recently passed away on March 29, 2017) at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 19, 2017 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
