Mary Lou Adams

Mrs. Mary Lou Adams age 81 of Anna, died at 11:10 AM, Friday, September 28, 2012 at Anna Rehab and Health Care Center in Anna. She was born September 27, 1931 in Mounds, the daughter of Louis and Lena Beisswingert Bucher. She married Curtis L. Adams on April 15, 1950 in Mounds. He preceded her in death on November 10, 1992. Mary Lou is survived by two daughters, Sherilyn Baker (Jack Steele) of Jonesboro and Sue (Steve) Bauer of Anna; 5 grandchildren, Ashley (Tyson) Funk, Bradley Schlenker, Michael Clutts, Shon (Meagan) Bauer, Shannon (Scott) Thompson; 6 great-grandchildren, Connor Funk, Ian Funk, Jaeger Funk, Hayden Young, Brian Thompson, and Benjamin Thompson; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Curtis Adams; and 5 brothers. Mary Lou retired from the Shawnee Development Council in Karnak. She was a member of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Carroll P. Foster Post #3455 of the VFW in Anna. Graveside services for Mrs. Mary Lou Adams will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at the Anna City Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Keller officiating. Interment will be in the Anna City Cemetery. Friends are asked to go directly to the graveside. Memorials may be made to TIP Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the graveside and at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro and Anna.
