Martin "Marty" D. Filter

Mr. Martin D. "Marty" Filter, age 61 of Jonesboro, died at 5:20 p.m. Monday, December 5, 2016 in the Southeast Health in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He was born March 12, 1955 in Mt. Vernon, the son of Martin and Dorothy (Buster) Filter. Marty is survived by his mother, Dorothy Filter of Jonesboro; father, Martin Filter of Florida; aunts and uncles, Joan Miller of Jonesboro, Caroline Page of Jonesboro, James W. Buster of Clyde, TX, and Richard Buster of Westminster, CO; many cousins; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Terry Filter. Marty liked to fish, and go to yard sales. He was a kind soul and will be missed by all who knew him. Funeral services for Mr. Martin D. "Marty" Filter will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 9, 2016 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Rev. Paul Sadler officiating. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Friends may call after 9:00 a.m. and until the service hour at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 9, 2016 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
