Martha L. Casper

Martha L. Casper, age 73 of Cobden, died Monday, February 11, 2019 at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. She was born July 18, 1945, the daughter of Clyde Earl and Vertis Aileen (Kelley) Hileman. She married Gerald Ray Casper on July 30, 1966 in Joliet. He preceded her in death on June 7, 2004. Martha is survived by her two sons, Timothy (Amy) Casper of Cobden, David (Amy) Casper of Anna; daughter, Natalie Casper of Cobden; grandchildren Kaitlin and Emily Casper of Anna, Bradley and Tristan Casper of Cobden; other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother Jackie Dean Hileman; and sister Betty Lou (Hileman) Schierhoff. Martha enjoyed the outdoors and hunting. She loved her grandchildren and was very proud of them. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 14, 2019 with Rev. Kerry Bean officiating in the Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden. Interment will be in the Cobden Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 in the Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
