Mart M Clark

Mr. Mart M. Clark Sr. age 68, of Cobden, died at 2:14 a.m. Friday, December 23, 2016 in the Ray and Kay Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY. He was born February 25, 1948 in Anna, the son of Hubert Richard and Evelene (Clutts) Clark. He married Lucille "Lucy" Newman on March 15, 1968 in Cobden. Mart is survived by his loving wife of forty eight years, Lucy Clark of Cobden; three children, Mart Clark Jr. of Cobden, Melissa (Steve) Glidden of Metropolis and Richard Clark of Cobden; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one brother, Robert (Marty) Clark of Cobden; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and one sister. Mart served his country in the United States Army from 1967 to 1969 during Vietnam. Funeral services for Mr. Mart M. Clark Sr. will be at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden with Evangelist Bruce Pitts officiating. Interment will be in the Ebenezer Hall Cemetery in Lick Creek. Graveside military rites will conducted by the Carroll P. Foster Post 3455 of the V.F.W. in Anna and the Illinois Army National Guard Military Honors Team of Marion. Friends may call after 10:00 a.m. and until the service hour at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden.
