Mark Gean Hubbs

Mark Gean Hubbs, age 62 of West Lafayette, Indiana died on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at his home.  He was born on November 20, 1962, in Joliet, Illinois. He is the son of Jennings Clifton "JC" and Jammie Jeannette (Harris) Hubbs. He married Misty Jackson on February 3, 1998.

Mark is survived by his wife, Misty Hubbs of West Lafayette, IN; children, Mark Ryan Hubbs of West Lafayette, Rebecca Mackenzie (Eric) Resendez of Ambia, IN and Sarah Schanz-Bortman of New Jersey; grandchildren, Elliott Ahern of New Jersey and Eric Resendez, Jr. of Ambia, IN; siblings, Sharri (David) Wood, Sharon (James) Redcloud; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Hank William Hubbs.

Mark loved meeting new people and never met a stranger.  He enjoyed riding motorcycles and loved spending time with his family. He was very proud to be called grandpa. They were his pride and joy.

Funeral services for Mark Hubbs will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro, Illinois with Pastor Alex Jackson officiating.  Interment will follow in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 1:00 pm until the service time at 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at the funeral home.
