Mark Allen Gray

Mr. Mark Allen Gray, age 45, of Anna, died at 12:28 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at the Union County Hospital in Anna. He was born July 24, 1965 in Roswell New Mexico, the son of Jerry Gray and Joann Albrecht Shaffar. Mark is survived by his mother, JoAnn Shaffar of Anna; father, Jerry Gray of Idaho; one daughter, Jessica Kilroy of Ingleside, IL; two sisters, Kimberly Shaffar and Melissa Shaffar both of Anna; brothers, Chad, Ryan, Jarrett and Rusty Gray all of Colorado; two uncles, Timothy Albrecht of Anna and Garon Albrecht of Cary, IN; two nephews, Mark Shaffar and Zachariah Shaffar; three nieces, Kaitlin Gerharz, Sophie Shaffar, and Faith Gerharz; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Thomas and Angela Albrecht; paternal grandparents, Walter and Betty Gary; uncle, Thomas Albrecht; and aunt, Lynn Albrecht. Mark proudly served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the NRA. Funeral services for Mr. Mark Allen Gray will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 4, 2011 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Dee Armes officiating. Interment will be in the Mound City National Cemetery in Mound City, IL at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, June 6, 2011. Military honors conducted at the graveside by local area Veteran's. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. and until the funeral hour on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gray family.
