Marjorie M. Hinkle

Marjorie M. Hinkle, age 96 of Anna, died Thursday, February 21, 2019 at her home. She was born September 10, 1922 in Carbondale, the daughter of Louie and Linnie (Nance) Brewer. She married the love of her life Floyd M. Hinkle on October 26, 1940 in Cape Girardeau, MO. He preceded her in death on June 17, 1998. Marjorie is survived by her three sons, Carl D. Hinkle of Anna, Floyd R. Hinkle of Harvel, Jerry (Deanie) Hinkle of Jonesboro; one daughter, Shirley (Elbert) Clardy of Anna; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ethel Barrnett of Elkville and Lois Goodnight of Desoto; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Floyd M. Hinkle; daughter, Sharon S. Gibson; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two brothers, Richard and Jim Brewer. Marjorie was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2019 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Rev. Danny Jones officiating. Interment will be in the Anna Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 25, 2019 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Memorial contributions may be made to the Refuge Worship Center in Ware or to Carl Hinkle to help with funeral expenses. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
