Marilyn Sue (Henson) Leach

Marilyn Sue Henson Leach, age 76 of Jonesboro, died Friday, June 16, 2023 at the Union County Hospital in Anna. She was born March 18, 1947 in Salem, the daughter of Vern and Ruth (McCluskey) Henson.

Marilyn is survived by her significant other, Eddie Reynolds of Jonesboro; daughter, Karen Lewis of West Frankfort; granddaughter, Mandy Greuter; great-granddaughter, Makiya Jamison; two brothers, Carroll Henson of Dongola, and Roger Hartline of Anna; sister, Teresa Halterman of TN; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Tommy Gonzalez; daughter, Tammy Sue Baggott; grandson, Jeremy Greuter; siblings, Elice Lowe, Loretta Money, Louise Mobley, Melba Mixon and Vern Henson Jr.

Marilyn owned and operated Marilyn's Roadhouse in Elgin for many years. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.

Graveside funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 19, 2023 at Mt. Pisgah cemetery in Dongola with Robert Loveless officiating. Interment will immediately follow. Those attending are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
