Marilyn Kay Freeman

Marilyn Kay Freeman, age 50 of Dongola, died at 9:33 a.m. Monday, January 25, 2021 at her home surrounded by family. She was born June 16, 1970 in Carbondale, the daughter of Clarence L. Sr. and Effie Pearl (Poole) Lang. She married Steven L. Freeman on June 20, 1987. Marilyn is survived by her father, Clarence L. Lang Sr. of Dongola; husband, Steven L. Freeman of Dongola; children, Samantha (Jason) Smith of Dongola, Kassondra Freeman of Ozark, and Rebekah (Skylar Benefield) Freeman of Anna; son, Hunter (Shaelea Morris) of Dongola; eight grandchildren, Emilye Smith, Ruger Freeman, Remington Freeman, Cadey Jo Sims, Effie Smith, Caison Freeman, Rossi Freeman, Emersyn Ming; brother, Clarence Lang Jr. of Anna; best friend, Mary Baker of Perks; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Effie P. Lang and brother, Terry Lang. A celebration of life will be held on February 6, 2021 at the Dongola First Baptist Church from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Visitation Service Saturday, February 6, 2021,1:00PM-4:00PM Dongola First Baptist Church 203 E.
