Marilyn Kay Forrest, age 75 of Bradenton, FL, formerly of Jonesboro, died on February 22, 2018 in the Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, FL. She was born December 20, 1942 in Anna the daughter of John Marion and Hester Naomi (Johnson) Forrest. Marilyn is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Johnny Forrest; paternal grandparents, Curtis and Eva (Reams) Forrest; maternal grandparents, William and Della (Webb) Johnson. Marilyn dedicated her life to helping others. She worked as a registered nurse, secretary for displaced homemaker program, massage therapist and as a parental health care provider. She graduated from AJ High School, attended Missouri Baptist Hospital School of nursing, Southeast Missouri College, Manatee Community Jr. College and Real Estate School. Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 12, 2018 in the Jonesboro Cemetery with Rev. Paul Sadler officiating. Friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery. Marilyn asked that memorial contributions be made to a charity of your choice to help others.
