Marian R. Murray, age 87 of Alto Pass, died Saturday, July 27, 2019 in Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. She was born August 25, 1931 in Alto Pass, the daughter of Hubert Francis and Mildred Suvilla (Hardin) Richardson. She married Robert "Jr" Murray on April 1, 1950 in Anna. He preceded her in death on January 3, 1969. Marian is survived by her loving children, Dian Murray of Alto Pass, Terry (Laura) Murray of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Lisa Fisher, Jason Johns, Joshua (Nikki) Johns, Robert (Kim) Murray, Tim Murray, Levi (Tammy) Murray; great grandchildren, Christopher Johns, Brynleigh Harris, Lucas Johns, Mallory Moore, Jackson Johns, Samantha Murray, Jake Murray, Michael Murray, Keith Schumate, Hunter Knight and Holden Knight; great-great grandchild, Waylon Robert Murray; one sister, Nadian (Alvin "Bill") Murray of Alto Pass; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jr Murray; son, Gary Dean Murray; granddaughter, Alisha Knight; great-grandson, Jarad Michael Fisher; and sister, Sharon Ann Richardson. Marian enjoyed quilting, sewing, embordering and reading a good book. She loved spending time with her family and will be dearly missed. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2019 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Alto Pass with Pastor Jack Richardson officiating. Interment will be in the Alto Pass Cemetery. Friends may call after 12:00 noon and until the service hour at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2019 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Alto Pass. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
