Maria Jesus-Ramirez

Maria Jesus-Ramirez, age 72 of Cobden, died Saturday, March 6, 2021 at the SMC Regional Medical Center in Osceola, AR. She was born May 29, 1948 in Guanajuato, Mexico, the daughter of Jose and Josephina (Herrejon) Guadalupe. She married Leonardo Morillo. Maria is survived by her husband, Leonardo Morillo; daughter, Maria Carmona; grandchildren, Geraldine, Salvador Jr., Santiago, & Jesse Carmona; great-grandchild, Maya Edwards; sister, Lourdes Ramirez; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Maria loved her family and enjoyed nothing more than getting to spend time with them. Funeral mass will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Cobden with Father Uriel Salamanca officiating. Interment will be in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Cobden on Monday, March 15, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. All those attending will be required to wear a face covering and observe social distancing guidelines.
