Margaret Jerolds

Mrs. Margaretha "Margaret" Jerolds, 81 of Anna, passed away at 2:05 p.m., Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at Anna Rehab and Nursing Center. She was born December 13, 1930 in Biebergemund, Germany, the daughter of Heinrich and Maria Schmidt Reitz. She married James R. Jerolds on April 10, 1957 in Fulda, Germany. He preceded her in death on May 17, 1996. Margaret is survived by two sons, Bernard (Tina) Jerolds of Jonesboro and Michael Jerolds of Anna; one step-son, James Roy (Judy) Jerolds, Jr. of Jonesboro; five grandchildren, Logan, Bradley, David, Jacob, and Tara Jerolds; 3 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Therese Jessat of Germany; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James. Margaret was a member of the First Christian Church of Anna, a life member of the Anna V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary, and a past member of the Senior Circle. She was a very talented seamstress and had a great passion for sewing. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 8, 2012 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Dee Armes officiating. Interment will be in the McGinnis Cemetery east of Anna. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
