Marcelo Amezquita

Marcelo Amezquita, age 41 of Cobden, died Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at his home. He was born on July 23, 1982 to Pastor and Griselda (Flores) Amezquita. He married Alma Duran.

He is survived by his wife, Alma Duran Amezquita; children, Jennifer and Elizabeth Amezquita and David Duran; siblings, Fidel, Marin, Alejandro and Armando Amezquita; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Griselda Flores-Amezquita.

Funeral mass for Marcelo Amezquita will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 12, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cobden with Father Uriel Salamanca as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Cobden Cemetery. Family and friends may gather from 10:00 a.m. until the service time of 11:00 at the church. Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden is in charge of arrangements.
