Marcella Tellor

Ms. Marcella Tellor, age 79 of Anna, died at 2:55 a.m. Saturday, October 8, 2016 at her home. She was born January 23, 1937 in Union County, the daughter of John and Georgia (Linton) Smith. Marcella is survived by her children, Gladys (Jim) Johnson of Anna, Sharon Mansfield of Anna, Imogene (Carl) Wright of Anna, Louie (Sandra) Tellor of Jonesboro, Lisa Tellor of Anna, Mary Ann (Doug) Case of Effingham and Mitchell Tellor of Jonesboro; three brothers, John Smith of Carterville, Bob Smith of Jonesboro and Mike Smith of Kansas City, Kansas; 2 sisters, Irene Tellor of Dongola and Jane Hutchinson of Anna; fifteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two grandchildren, Steven Wright and Tiffaney Johnson; and two infant daughters Tammy and Linda Sue. Marcella was a very loving and helpful individual who put others needs before her own. Her family said she had a big heart and it showed by her caring personality. Funeral services for Ms. Marcella Tellor will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 10, 2016 in the Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Paul Tirey officiating. Inurnment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery at a later date. Friends may call from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 10, 2016 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
