Madrene (Krach) Myers

Madrene Myers, age 95 of Anna, formerly of Wolf Lake, died Sunday, October 1, 2023 at the Union County Hospital in Anna. She was born October 17, 1927 in Anna, the daughter of Michael and Nel (Pollard) Krach. She married Harry O. Myers on December 31, 1946 in Piggott, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on February 6, 2014.

Madrene is survived by her children, Michael (Kathy) Myers of Grand Tower and Randy (Elizabeth) Myers of Vienna; grandchildren, William (Holly) Myers, Brandon (Sheila) Myers, Sarah (Matt) Raben, Amanda (Justin) Neilson, Summer, Autumn and Kenzie Myers; great grandchildren, Addison Cranor, Allie, Zoe and Branson Myers, Shelbi, Olivia, Eliana Raben, Emma and Randall Neilson, and Rhett and Ryland Rendleman; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harry O. Myers and her sister, Beverley Choate.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Wolf Lake. She spent her life caring for Pop and her two sons, whom she adored. She loved her family very much and will be dearly missed.

The Myers family would like to express their sincere appreciation to all of the staff at the Union County Hospital for their care and compassion shown to Madrene and all of her family. During this difficult time the staff went above and beyond.

Private family services for Madrene will be held.
