Mr. Luis Carlos Gonzalez, age 29 of Jonesboro, died at 9:01 a.m. Thursday, February 19, 2015 in Memorial Hospital in Carbondale. He was born October 8, 1985 in Monterrey, Mexico, the son of Jose L. Gonzalez and Dora V. Trevino. Luis is survived by his son, Daymion Azael Gonzalez; one daughter, Aleeyah Mia Gonzalez; mother, Dora V. Gonzalez of Jonesboro; father, Jose L. Gonzalez of Mexico; two sisters, Dora E. Gonzalez of Chaffee, MO, Nora V. Gonzalez of Dallas, TX; one brother, Alex Gonzalez of Jonesboro; maternal grandmother, Evelia C. Trevino of Mexico; paternal grandmother, Maria Gonzalez of Mexico; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jose S. Trevino and paternal grandfather, Felipe Gonzalez. Luis was a 2004 graduate of Anna-Jonesboro Community High School. He played Wildcat Football for four years and was on the wrestling team. He enjoyed attending concerts and currently was attending nursing school. Luis enjoyed spending time with his children and his family. Funeral services for Mr. Luis Carlos Gonzalez will be at 5:00 p.m. Sunday, February 22, 2015 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Father Federico Higuera officiating. Friends may call after 1:00 p.m. and until the service hour at 5:00 p.m. in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice.
