Luella Marie Morgan

Mrs. Luella Marie Morgan, age 89 of Jonesboro, died at 2:25 a.m. Sunday, March 15, 2015 in the Union County Hospital in Anna. She was born February 28, 1926 in Union County, the daughter of Van Kelley and Maude Morse Kelley. She married Paul Morgan on January 29, 1946 in Jonesboro. The two shared 69 wonderful years together. Lue is survived by her loving husband, Paul Morgan of Jonesboro; sons, Randy (Mary) Morgan of McClure, Mike (Karen) Morgan of Jonesboro, Van (Beth) Morgan of Jonesboro; daughter, Paula Morgan of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Shelley Hileman, Jenifer Eddleman, Danielle Parr, Miranda Wright, Andrew Parr and Katy Newman; nieces, Linda McCloud, Debbie Mitchell, Bonita Sissom; nephews, Scott and John Kelley and Richard Davis. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Nadine Davis; brothers, Harold Kelley, Jack Kelley, and Frank Kelley; and one grandson, Duane Morgan. Lue was a member of the Lockard Chapel Baptist Church for fifty-eight years. Only God knows how many lives she touched while serving there. If there was a need in the community she would do her best to meet it. Lue wasn't just a homemaker, she operated Kelley's Cafe and Motel as well as helping her husband Paul with the farming and Run-N-Lake Hunting Club. Funeral services for Mrs. Luella Marie Morgan will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2015 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Rev. Jack Richardson and Rev. Danny Jones officiating. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2015 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
