Mrs. Lucille Rose Irene Isaacs, age 98 of Anna, passed away at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, April 19, 2012 at the Union County Hospital in Anna. She was born, May 4, 1913 in Centralia, the daughter of Harry and Susie Roberts. She married Elmer Henry Frederick Isaacs on July 4, 1931 in Centralia. He preceded her in death on April 8, 1957. Lucille is survived by her two sons, Robert (Shirley) Isaacs of Cobden, Richard Isaacs of Dongola; one daughter, Martha Garrett of Jonesboro; grandchildren Marilyn (Frank) Kohnke of Worth, Teresa (Steve) Hook of Oaklawn, Sandra (Ray) Lewis of Orland Park, Bobby (Tracey) Isaacs of New Lennox, Mike (Sheila) Isaacs of Cobden, Darlene (Bill) Osteen of Broken Arrow, OK, Jon (Lori) Jones of Key West, FL, Brian Garrett of Key West, FL, Tina Isaacs of Oaklawn and Richie (Dianna) Isaacs of Dongola; many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy Bucholtz of Centralia; one niece and one nephew; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Lucille was of the Lutheran Faith. She was a member of the Women's Auxiliary of the Anna Moose Lodge. Lucille worked for the Gazette Democrat, Big Boy and later worked thirty two years for Bunny Bread. After retirement she had her own business, Luce Ceramics in Anna for many years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed working crossword and jigsaw puzzles. She dearly loved cooking for her family and friends.Funeral services for Mrs. Lucille Rose Irene Isaacs will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 23, 2012 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Pastor David Eidson officiating. Interment will be in the Anna City Cemetery. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. and until the service hour at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 23, 2012 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
